Does the sensor light up when it detects someone?
By default the sensor shows a small red light when it detects movement. If you would rather nobody could tell the barking is coming from a device, press the TEST button on the side of the sensor once. It still detects movement and triggers the receiver, but the red light stays off.
Can I buy it with the kit?
Yes. Open checkout from this page and the extra sensor is pre-selected. Increase the kit quantity from 0 if you also need the receiver, remote and first sensor.
Can I add it after buying the kit?
Yes. Customers who already have a compatible K9-Alert receiver can order extra sensors for additional watched points.
Can I order just the sensor if I already own a kit?

How many sensors can I pair to one receiver?
The receiver supports multiple sensors using 256 selectable encodings. In practice, most households use 1–3 sensors covering different entry points; we don't recommend going past 4 sensors on one receiver because triggers from multiple zones blur together.
